Privacy Policy

Pour: Ball Sort Puzzle

This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what choices you have. It is written to match what the app actually does — if the app changes, this document changes with it.

In short

  • No account, no login, no name, email or phone number
  • No contacts, photos, files, or precise location
  • We run no servers and hold no personal data ourselves
  • Ads and analytics are handled by Google, described below

1. Data stored on your device

Your game progress — current level, levels unlocked, best move counts, star ratings, coin balance, purchases, and your sound and music settings — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded and is not visible to us. Uninstalling the app removes it permanently.

2. Advertising — Google AdMob

Pour displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:

  • Advertising ID — a resettable device identifier used to select and measure ads and limit repeats
  • Approximate location from IP address — country level, to select relevant ads and apply the correct privacy rules
  • Device and app information — device model, OS version, language, app version
  • Ad interaction data — whether an ad was shown, viewed, clicked, or a rewarded ad completed

Google acts as an independent data controller for this information. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. We only ever see aggregated, anonymous performance totals.

3. Analytics & crash reporting — Firebase

Pour uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the game is played and to receive crash reports. These collect:

  • App instance ID — a random identifier for the installation, used to count unique players. It is not linked to you personally and resets if you reinstall or clear app data
  • Approximate location from IP address — country and region only. No precise or GPS location is ever collected
  • Device and app information — device model, OS version, language, app version
  • In-app events — which level was started or cleared, moves used, star rating, and which power-ups were used, so we can tell where levels are unfair
  • Crash reports — stack traces, device state at the time of a crash, OS version

This is used only in aggregate, to improve the difficulty and stability of the game. It is never sold and is not used to identify you. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

4. In-app purchases

Pour offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs and an ad-free upgrade) processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details, card number, or billing address. Google handles the transaction and tells the app only whether it succeeded.

5. Your choices & consent

EEA, UK & Switzerland

A Google-certified consent message appears the first time you play. Change it any time from Settings → Privacy Options in the app. Declining also switches off analytics and crash reporting.

Advertising ID

Reset or delete it any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can also opt out of personalised ads.

Removing ads

The ad-free purchase stops banner and interstitial advertising. Rewarded ads stay available because they are optional and you choose to watch them.

Resetting analytics

Clearing the data of the app or reinstalling resets the app instance ID and disconnects future data from your installation.

6. Permissions the app requests

Permission Why
INTERNET Load advertisements and send analytics. The game itself plays fully offline.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Lets the ads and analytics SDKs avoid sending requests with no connection.
AD_ID The device advertising identifier, used by AdMob as described above.

The app requests no other permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, files, precise location, or call data.

7. Children and privacy

Pour is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will act on it.

8. Data retention & deletion

We hold no personal data ourselves. Progress lives on your device and is removed on uninstall. Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set on the Firebase project, then deleted automatically. To request deletion, contact us — or clear the data of the app, which resets the app instance ID and disconnects future data from your installation.

9. Security

The app stores no credentials and transmits no personal data of its own. All advertising and analytics traffic uses encrypted connections managed by the Google Mobile Ads and Firebase SDKs. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the revised version is published at this same URL. Material changes will also be noted in the update notes of the app.
